Garganey female with leucism, or "Gentlemen prefer blondes"

Garganey female (Spatula querquedula) with almost white plumage (leucism) was registered on the Lake Osveisky, during the survey in mid-May 2020. The bird was recorded on May 14 and May 18, 2020 in pair with the male with the usual colors of plumage. Before exploring the lake, local residents report the presence of a "white duck" on the waterbody.
